Miriam Haskell

Born in 1899 Miriam Haskell was the daughter of a small-town merchant in Indiana. Some 30 years later, she would have tea with Coco Chanel while selecting the upcoming season’s beads at Madame Gripoix’s in Paris. Miriam Haskell opened her first boutique in New York in 1926 and Joan Crawford, Lucille Ball and the Duchess of Windsor were among her greatest patrons. If history is any indication of the value of a Miriam Haskell piece, today’s collection promises continued appreciation by generations to come.
